The beautiful Resort 2019 collection from JIL SANDER. Even though Jil Sander has been an all time favourite now it's even more important. Since Phoebe's departure from Céline that we have been pretty sure that the brand will no longer be the same so who to turn to? Who's next in the list? Well, as we buy our last pieces at Phoebe Philo's Céline lets keep our eyes on Luke and Lucie Meier and the amazing work they are doing at Jil Sander.

"I am attracted to art with dust and old architecture" - CONIE VALLESE

Vallese has rapidly become one of our favourite modern times artist. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in a very creative family, surrounded by her grandmother's paintings, her father's sculptures and her mother's interior designs, she took her influences and became the artist she is today. After studying film at UBA she moved to New York where she lives and works today not only as an artist but also a model.

Jack Davison brings his magic into this beautiful editorial where Rachel Thomas dresses Conie in Jacquemus to interact with her own living art for RIKA Magazine.

CELINE PRE-FALL '18 | GOODBYE PHOEBE

"I surround myself with images for their emotional qualities,... I get an energy from their tenderness, strength and glamour that I'm very responsive to."  - Phoebe Philo for Gentlewoman

Phoebe has created herself many of those images that will give us that same energy. This is her last collection for CELINE. Some say is a self portrait, some say is rebel. Not wanting to be dramatic but is there any other way to say this? It is indeed the end of an era.

Philo has filled us with excitement and showed us all there is a way of being cool and comfortable breaking the edges of fashion with that "I don't even care" attitude. She brought art closer and a new perspective on minimal bold dressing.

Is not only about leaving CELINE. It's that the brand without her will never be the same and is about not having her bringing her masterpieces to us every season. We hope you come back soon Phoebe. We miss you already!

Goodbye for now and THANK YOU!

CELINE FALL 2018

The last of Céline as we knew it! This collection is "the work of Phoebe's studio" and the last Céline collection fully overseen by Phoebe. She will be deeply missed and we so hope she will be coming back soon to continue inspire us with her unparalleled vision. But the truth is, we respect and will wait patiently and hopeful.

Definitely the end of an era. The end of Philo's legacy, at least at Céline.

It's getting better and better each season. Lemaire's contemporary designs and Japanese heritage influences just make each collection a delight to flip through and each garment irresistible.

About one month ago we were visiting the inspiring and one of a kind Noguchi Museum in Queens, New York. What a beautiful combination! There you have, Noguchi's work, each piece of art displayed in the museum serving as a perfect complement to each single crafted piece of clothing of The Row's collection. Bravo!
